Over use of steroids, uncontrolled blood sugar levels, oxygen therapy, long hospital stay, and ICU procedures and ventilators also contribute to the increased occurrence of post-COVID Mucormycosis. Hot and humid climate favors the growth of such molds. [...]many studies have found that hospitals in our country have very heavy mold spore count.
